But what to call the period of agricultural prosperity in recent years? Well, how about “the Great Super Cycle?” That’s what one of the speakers at the upcoming Ag Trends Conference in Mahnomen, Minn., is calling it.
David Kahl will speak on “Managing in the Great Super Cycle.” He is professor emeritus of agricultural finance and small business management and entrepreneurship at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg. Va. He taught in the agricultural and applied economics department for 25 years.
The ninth annual convention will be held in the Event Center of the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen on Feb. 26. The free event is sponsored by local businesses and ag business suppliers.
