The days are getting longer and a little warmer. Meeting season is winding down.

Many livestock producers are calving or lambing, or soon will be. A few farmers in Agweek country are in their fields will be, or soon will be. Most area farmers are wrapping up their advance preparations for planting.

For ag producers — and the people who work with them, including ag journalists  – anticipation is stirring a little stronger. What will calving and lambing bring? What will the growing season bring?

I don’t know the answers, of course. But whatever they are, we’ll learn them together.
