Last month I wrote a story about beer made from lentils. In a follow-up blog, I asked readers whether they know of any crops (other than barley, of course) being used for beer.
A savvy reader responded that a Minnesota company was brewing beer from Kernza.
Well, I’m familiar with Kernza. I’ve written about it before.
So last night I did a quick online search and came across this Minnesota
company. There may be other companies, too; I don’t know.
Two final points:
I have the good fortune to write about a lot of crops.
